Below are all the comments received for the Winter 2005 Superstars.

Nice job on the website dude, now try and take it easy and get away from your computer - but don't practise for the summer sports. Actually on second thoughts you need to spend more time at the computer.

Presumably you mean your beer goggles Oli rather than your rose tinted specs? Am looking forward to going for the double in the summer - training starts tomorrow!

Did anyone pull in 'The Embassy' after the event? I had to leave early cause my rose tinted glasses were being made more potent with the effect of 2 strawpedoes. John is Winter champ - Pressure is on for the summer. I came 5th - Look for an improvement in the summer.

this is all bololx, and ronan won fairly. bad losers should shut their frigging faces.

I can confirm that the odds were artificially shortened for Backdoor after he complained to me that he was so low down the rankings. Guys it has been hard to organise this, and I'm trying to please every one. We haven't even started the events yet and some of you are already shedding tears. Oli's non sporting physique/ability led to his original odds so those wanting to place bets should be aware of their artificial shortening. And as make it less complicated I had to artificially lengthen Rory's odds, I have explained this to him and he seems relatively happy as this has only done to pretend Oli is better than he is.

Konichewa, I used to beat Des Douglas regularly back in the 80s on the table tennis circuit. Slice to the forehand and he offers nothing.

In reply to Ronan's confession on February 17th regarding cheating at the summer superstars I will not accept the title but graciously accept his confession and believe sport is the real winner. In reaction to the news I will be handing the rophy to a paraplegic orphan I met whilst travelling down the zambese in June 1995.

In reply to the organises entry posted at 10.35 a.m on February 18th, I can confirm Niggler O'Mahoney is not lengthening, in fact it has shortened to a little under 3 inches. Cold winter nights.

Whoever wins gets a date with my girlfriend. She's so much fitter than my last bird. Mummy says we have to get married soon. Harry's going to get some Ganja for the Stag do

I was suprised you chose Strawpedo yourself Oli - it will be interesting!
Posted by The Cat at 12:30 PM on Friday, February 18th, 2005.
Interesting choice of Joker's. Looks like me and you fancy our chances on Strawpedo John - I thought that might happen. And there's 3 people hoping to score highly in ten pin - Will they all be happy with their result? P.S. Irony noted in Ross's comments earlier and Jenny's comments were appalling!

I will be cheering on "the boy".

Incidentally, please note a shift in the betting at the outsider end of the market, with 'Back Door' O'Mahony shortening and Niggler O'Mahony lengthening, both now at 10/1.

All own equipment is permitted on the day, including table tennis bats, snooker cues and straws.
Posted by The organiser at 10:12 AM on Friday, February 18th, 2005.
Dear Concerned. Does that mean i can't use my own straw in the strawpedo!
Posted by Ronnie O'Sullivan at 08:15 AM on Friday, February 18th, 2005.
Allcontestants should use the same equipment thereby avoiding unfair advantages. For example those who are more familiar with snooker already have an advantage and should not be able to use there own snooker cues.

Ross, pot caling the kettle black not wanting whingers. you're the biggest whinger of them all. wuite ironic that your comment was actually whingeing about whingeing!!!!!!!! anyone back me up? Plus John, this is my first entry on here dis year!
Posted by Ronan 'Champ' O'Mahony (Finish higher than me and you'll win) at 04:26 PM on Thursday, February 17th, 2005.
Ronan, do you have nothing better to do than spam this guestbook?!
Posted by The Cat at 03:35 PM on Thursday, February 17th, 2005.
Wasn't Ross in the failed boyband 'Spacetime'. He was soooo sexy. Call me!

I would like to own up to cheating in the Summer Superstars. I am very sorry for what I have done and feel that it is only fair that I resign my title and give it to the runner up.
Posted by Ronan at 01:57 PM on Thursday, February 17th, 2005.
As usual John has forgotten to check the event against recent EU quotas on the amount of GINGERS allowed in the comp. Typical! - With the inclusion of Oliver and peroxide Ruairi we are over the limit and at least one will have to be humanley put down to prevent risk of contamination or public hysteria.
Posted by Jenny Saul at 01:05 PM on Thursday, February 17th, 2005.
Can we also get a book running on how many times Ross will needlessly drop the word 'Porsche' into conversation on the day?
Posted by Geoff at 01:01 PM on Thursday, February 17th, 2005.
Can Rob White be excluded from the Strawpedo competition please because I don't want my boy drinking. He's always been tee-total and I'm proud of him for it. It's not a religious thing it's just a life decision he made when he was 14.

Whoever wins gets a commemorative freeze dried genuine memento of 'Ruairi's sick'. Taken from Newquay.

I'm going to POUND you lot into the GROUND! Yes indeedy
Posted by Nick at 12:54 PM on Thursday, February 17th, 2005.
I'd just like to say that we don't want any whingers on the day. I really hate people that moan and moan.

Hi my name is Chad Allen - Senior VP of Microsoft Innovations dept based in Hawaii USA. John, this is a fantastic website and you've really put a lot of effort into it - I'm sure your friends don't appreciate you. We'd like to offer you a job straight off for $300,000 a year. I hope this is enough money, we normally pay more, only I heard you used to live in Batford.

I like the look of the Weasel

Good luck to all competitors on the big day! I'll have a fiver on The Cat @ 15/2 please - very generous odds!
Posted by Betting Man at 10:07 AM on Wednesday, February 16th, 2005.
The ginger one WILL NOT win. A double victory would be unbearable for his fellow Superstars.
Posted by The Cat at 09:52 AM on Wednesday, December 1st, 2004.
I hear there's talk of a 2004/5 Winter superstars event. Is that true? My money would be on ther ginger one; he's fast!
