Below are all the comments received for the 2004 Superstars.
The ginger one WILL NOT win. A double victory would be unbearable for his fellow Superstars.

I hear there's talk of a 2004/5 Winter superstars event. Is that true? My money would be on ther ginger one; he's fast!

Awesome website boys, clearly a lot of effort went into that (I'd say more than the actual event by the look of the stats!) - you truly are the picture of health & fitness....
Big up the St.George's Massif!!!

Your events look much better than ours (BBC)- Hope you do not mind if we nick some for the new series! (Starting in November 2004 - plug plug). With pub events included we will secure the original cat - Phil Tuffnel ! good luck with SA&H SS 2005!

I think you must be colour blind Moses, Nick was wearing dark blue that day!

I was sent this link by a friend of mine and initially I though you guys looked like a load of wasters, however after reviewing the photo's and videos I can see some promise in you all, especially the fat one in the light blue top who finished 2nd in the 800m. Inspiring

What a cracking idea guys. Chuffing stuff! looking forward to being involved next year. Take care, Matt. ps - buy Rovers.

I think The Cat deserves at least 5 bonus points for not receiving any major injuries!!

The results are now available. Can I also congratulate Ronan for his predictions. He predicted the correct winner in seven out of nine events, and also thought Tim would be getting the wooden spoon. Strangely he didn't predict himself to win this time though...

Cheer Nick! And Dave, there are to be no naked photos I'm afraid...

I would like to congratulate John for organising the day so well and for producing this web site for us to abuse. I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that we all went easy on you! Next year will not be so kind. Paul will not purposely hold off from winning the darts, Robbie will start playing golf with his eyes open and (with the obvious exception of me) everyone will run faster in the 800m.

Any chance of naked pictures of contestants ?
Want to check out muscle definition.

Things are looking interesting for the 800m...

Think the winner will be the one who really believes they can take that cup and drink from it with both hands, come on Ross.

I think a more pertinent question is how big is his ego?
Posted by The Cat at 03:43 PM on Wednesday, July 21st, 2004.
Let me guess - how big is his family??

What's with all this Ronan favouritism?!

To be honest, I reckon Ronan and Nick have both got a strong chance! Can't wait!

Completely pointless message from an anonymous source. Signing off!
ps - looks like that handsome bloke Ronan is in with a strong chance!

Who are you Keith? Come on, if you're going to be so critical, at least face it like a man!
And if I fancied myself that much, why am I only 6/1 eh?
Posted by The Cat at 05:00 PM on Tuesday, July 20th, 2004.
Competitors - the key (as always) is to ensure that "The Cat" does not win a single event. You can rule him out of the running events and the gym test (last place?!); the golf (despite the lessons) should be beyond him and there can only be one winner in basketball (Slick Nick). So it's only the football and cricket of the afternoon events - ensure that the goalies and fielders try extra hard vs. John! He obviously fancies himself at the 'indoor' sports (Joker?) so try to sabotage at every opportunity - inappropriate coughs, spiked drinks, rules questioning, etc. GOOD LUCK!!

I'm hoping for rain - always a good leveller in the skill events.
Posted by The Boy at 04:20 PM on Tuesday, July 20th, 2004.
Looking good guys!
But you know that if the Mad Man from Copenhagen was to arrive you wouldn't have a chance!
Hope you're all doing well.

The excitement is building.......................... now we'll see who can call themselves a true sporting superstar.

WWFC - I appreciate the support. I will be using the 'Belly' putter on Saturday, a club John knows well (along with the leather wedge).
Posted by The Boy at 01:10 PM on Monday, July 19th, 2004.
I'm not actually opening a book - but you should have seen him play golf last weekend!
Posted by John at 07:55 PM on Wednesday, July 14th, 2004.
John - are you actually opening a book? I think The Boy's odds look long. Put me down for a fiver.
